SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

FOR THE 0819 ONLY: This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0819 series. Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You MUST provide a copy of your current license with your application.
A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing program priorities, instructions and guidelines for Navy environmental compliance programs; 2) Conducting internal environmental compliance audits of military installations; 3) Developing and implementing Plan of Action and Milestones to resolve compliance findings or violations; 4) Serving as Contracting Officers Representative on task orders; 5) Applying expert knowledge with managing and executing requirements for Environmental Compliance programs, such as, Clean Water Act, NPDES, and Safe Drinking Water Act.
