About this role

For the GS14: You must have year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or equivalent, performing IT acquisition, contract oversight, and project management work that includes: Managing IT acquisition projects through multiple acquisition phases, including developing requirements, coordinating acquisition activities, monitoring schedules and resources, identifying risks, and tracking deliverables; Developing or reviewing acquisition requirements and supporting documentation for IT products or services, such as performance work statements, statements of objectives, performance standards, market research, or pre-solicitation documentation; Monitoring IT contracts, task orders, or agreements by evaluating contractor performance and deliverables, reviewing funding or invoices, maintaining acquisition documentation, and identifying performance or compliance issues; Coordinating acquisition activities with contracting personnel, program officials, customers, contractors, or other stakeholders and providing recommendations concerning acquisition requirements, performance, risks, funding, or corrective actions; and Leading or overseeing the work of acquisition, contract oversight, or project management personnel by assigning or coordinating work, monitoring progress, reviewing work products, or providing technical guidance.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 14 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
