Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist

About this role

You may qualify at the GS-2210-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: Specialized Experience: Must have one year (52 weeks) of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the federal service performing the following duties: 1. Implementing IT enterprise architecture plans that address mission-critical program objectives; 2. Assisting with managing and directing IT projects consistent with industry standards; 3.

Analyzing business requirements to develop IT solutions; AND 4. Providing technical advice and assistance on IT programs to users and management. (NOTE: Your resume must CLEARLY demonstrate this experience.) AND Basic Requirement: In addition to the Specialized Experience above, you must meet the basic requirements for the Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 as described below. A. You must have Information Technology related experience demonstrating each of the following required competencies, and must meet or exceed the *minimum proficiency level for each (Please see section Minimum Proficiency Level): Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

*(Level 4, Advanced) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

*(Level 4, Advanced) Decision Making - Makes sound, well-informed, and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions; commits to action, even in uncertain situations, to accomplish organizational goals; causes change. *(Level 3, Intermediate) Information Management - Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems.

*(Level 3, Intermediate) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. *(Level 4, Advanced) Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals. *(Level 4, Advanced) Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.

*(Level 4, Advanced) In addition to the Required Competencies above, you must have Information Technology related experience demonstrating each of the following supervisory competencies, and must meet or exceed the *minimum proficiency level for each (Minimum Proficiency Level for all supervisory competencies is Level 3, Intermediate. You do not fully meet the competency requirements outlined above, but you are nonetheless demonstrably well qualified to perform the work of the position. You possess appropriate licensure, registration, certification (Examples include: PMP, ITIL, Agile, AWS, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security, Microsoft Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, Networking, AI Governance Professional) You must provide copies of licensure, registration, certification.

or C. You do not fully meet the competency requirements outlined above, but you are nonetheless demonstrably well qualified to perform the work of the position. You have a substantial record of experience, achievement, and publications that demonstrates eminence in the appropriate profession/technical field. You must provide examples such as published works, industry keynotes, peer research, awards, board memberships, etc.
