About this role
Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): AD-00: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems.
Specialized experience includes: Experience underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and/or managing complex corporate credit transactions (e.g., balance sheet financings, structured or project finance, syndicated loans, or comparable multi-million-dollar corporate lending transactions) involving analysis of financial statements, credit risk, and repayment capacity. Experience exercising independent authority (delegated, individual, or committee-based) to approve, recommend, or decline financing transactions based on credit analysis, risk assessment, and applicable lending policy.
Experience providing leadership, technical direction, or supervision to a team of loan officers, credit analysts, or similar financial/credit professionals, including assigning and reviewing work and developing staff. Experience serving as a primary point of contact/negotiator with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, or other financial institutions on transactions involving competing interests, intercreditor issues, or regulatory complexity.
Experience applying financial/credit expertise within one or more relevant industry sectors (e.g., manufacturing, critical minerals, energy, technology, aerospace, or comparable capital-intensive industries) or demonstrated ability to rapidly develop such expertise across sectors. Education cannot be substituted for experience at the AD-00 grade level.
