You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for the Supervisory Management Analysis Officer position, as described below. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. GS-14: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13 in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include the following: Advising on program requirements and developing and implementing evaluative measures to assess the effectiveness of administrative and management program activities.

Participating in significant management planning, policy-making, and decision-making activities to accomplish Agency goals. Managing staff and planning work to be accomplished by subordinates. Generating and manipulating data, and preparing complex reports, briefings, procedures, and guidelines. Providing oversight and financial management of an operating program budget of an agency, organization, or department within a large organization.
