SUPERVISORY ORDNANCE OPERATIONS

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in budgeting, organizing, directing and coordinating ammunition operations and logistics support. 2) Experience with Navy explosives safety standards (e.g., NAVSEA OP 5).

3) Appling Net Explosive Weight (NEW) limits, compatibility grouping, and ammunition sentencing criteria. 4) Experience with execution of Department of Transportation (DOT) and military logistics regulations governing the safe transit, blocking, bracing, and transportation of explosives on public highway. 5) Supervising Federal Wage System (FWS) and General Schedule (GS) employees (to includes planning, operations support (creating watch-bills), program management, providing supervision and technical direction, logistics and traffic management coordination, labor-management relations, and enforcing PPE and safety protocols and requirements) Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=1600-ndx Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
