EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards ). To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 or equivalent which includes: 1) directing a division on economic development programmatic initiatives, policies, practices, and operational guidance; 2) advising executives or top leaders on economic development programs; 3) preparing, implementing, or measuring economic development policies, procedures, plans or strategies for an organization; and 4) leading and/or supervising employees in order to build a cohesive and productive team.

All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Additional selections may be made from this announcement if identical vacancies occur in the same location within 90 days from the closing date.
