SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

About this role

You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Directing a multi-disciplinary, integrated workforce consisting of active duty, reserve, civilian, and contractor personnel, ensuring continuity of operations and managing readiness metrics to support rapid deployment requirements. Formulating and integrated complex joint war-fighting operations and interagency plans.

Serving as a primary liaison to Combatant Commands and the Joint Staff to translate strategic aims into actionable military planning. Overseeing strategic planning, public affairs, legal, internal review and compliance programs, and Command programs affecting multi million-dollar annual budgets. Providing authoritative guidance to senior flag officers and civilian leadership on legal authorities, interagency policy, and multinational contingency operations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
