About this role

To qualify for the GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying comprehensive knowledge of Navy's supply and logistics management programs, systems, instructions, policies, techniques and practices.

Experience displaying comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Navy regulations pertaining to the proper management of submarine stores division operations. Experience applying analytical techniques and methods to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of supply operations that support the submarine force mission to include obtaining all certifications/training requirements to perform in the capacity as an Approving Official for the GCPC program.

Experience demonstrating knowledge of Navy shipboard and ashore hazardous material policies, instructions, and procedures. Experience displaying knowledge of the specifications, procedures, and organizational responsibilities associated with aspects of supply management of Navy ships. Experience employing Navy's training techniques to include the ability to create a formal lesson plan. Experience utilizing submarine logistics Information Technology (IT) systems and the requisite Information Assurance (IA) policies.

Experience demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects and constantly changing priorities independently. Experience and familiarity with technical publications to be able to interpret systems procedures and properly instruct user personnel. Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
