Military Grades: CW2 through CW4: O-1 through O5 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training that has provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions and general management principles that enabled the understanding of the stages required8 to automate a work process; experience in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems.

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in either the federal service or the private sector. Experience designing, engineering, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). Experience applying engineering concepts to complex environments, including virtualized network environments, wireless infrastructures and hybrid cloud networking.

Experience integrating cybersecurity requirements into network architecture, which includes implementing Zero Trust Architecture, Risk Management Framework standards, and vulnerability mitigations. Experience configuring. Securing and maintaining large-scale multi-site VPN infrastructures. Knowledge of cloud migration and analyzing complex network performance resiliency and availability issues to develop solutions. Experience planning work sequences, setting project controls and coordinating with teams inside and outside of your immediate unit.

Experience directing, assigning, and reviewing the work of technical personnel, as well as providing technical guidance to leadership and key stakeholders.
