At our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark, research facilities in Heidelberg, Germany, and additional offices across Europe and the United States, we are advancing programs in our Endocrinology Rare Disease portfolio. We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets. We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Hellerup.

This is a highly operational recruitment role, where the majority of your time will be spent managing recruitment processes from A-Z within your assigned business areas. You will have clear ownership of your recruitment portfolio and build strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders across the organisation. The role requires someone who is comfortable working at high pace and volume, managing multiple recruitment processes in parallel and ensuring a high level of quality and candidate experience throughout.

You should enjoy being close to the business, driving processes forward and getting things done. You will join the Global HR team of 18 colleagues and report directly to Tina Lorenzen, Talent Acquisition Lead, based in Hellerup. You will be based in the Hellerup office and become part of a dedicated recruitment team. Your key responsibilities will be: Lead and manage high-volume recruitment processes from A-Z , including sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, follow-up after onboarding Take ownership of recruitment within your assigned business areas and build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers.

Manage multiple recruitment processes in parallel and ensure timely progress in a fast-paced environment. Partner closely with hiring managers and advise them throughout the recruitment process, including on candidate assessment, process and best practices. Facilitate interviews, assessments and test feedback. Ensure a high-quality and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Manage relationships with third-party recruitment partners and other vendors when required.

Collaborate closely with the wider Talent Acquisition and HR teams to ensure alignment and a consistent approach to recruitment. Work with international stakeholders and candidates across different time zones when required. Qualifications and Skills You hold a relevant academic degree and have 5-7 years of experience within Talent Acquisition/recruitment, including professional experience from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Furthermore, you have: Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment and multiple parallel processes in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience building trusted relationships with hiring managers. Experience facilitating interviews, assessments and test feedback. Experience working in an international organisation and collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.

Certification in one or more personality assessment tools is an advantage. OPQ experience is a plus. Fluent written and spoken Danish and English. Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal Danish office hours when collaboration with colleagues or candidates in other time zones requires it. Key competencies You are highly operational, structured and execution-focused, with the ability to manage a high workload and keep multiple processes moving simultaneously.

You are a strong stakeholder manager who builds trust and credibility with hiring managers and colleagues. You are comfortable working at high pace and volume and can prioritise effectively when demands change. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You are a strong team player with a proactive, hands-on and can-do attitude. You are flexible and adaptable and enjoy working in an international and changing environment.

You take ownership, follow through on commitments and are motivated by delivering results. As Ascendis Pharma is an international biopharmaceutical company, it is important that you are flexible to have overlap of work hours with colleagues and candidates based in other time zones, particularly the US.
