TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (CWO)

Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by 1. Communications & Alert Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for NCTAMSPAC, JFTOC, and DISA RNOC, ensuring immediate command notification of circuit outages, emergency conditions (FPCON, DEFCON), and severe weather events. 2. Equipment Availability & Maintenance: Ensure continuous functionality of TCF and SATCOM systems (including ANCC, HF, SHF, UHF, and EHF controls), while overseeing required daily and scheduled 3M preventative and corrective maintenance.
3. Task Execution & Reporting: Execute operational directives, manage circuit and cryptographic changes, and submit timely reports (SITREPs, HAZCONs, COMSPOTs) for outages and high-interest incidents. 4. Operational Awareness & Oversight: Monitor classified and unclassified message traffic for necessary actions, maintain communication with outlying sites, and keep the chain of command apprised of issues impacting mission readiness.
5. Security & Inventory Management: Maintain the physical security of system assets, control authorized access, conduct shift inspections, and properly utilize and manage COMSEC inventory. 6. Supervision & Training: Perform as a Supervisory Watch Officer (overseeing up to four GG-0391-09 Telecommunications Specialists) and conduct technical instruction for entry level operators on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and testing.
