GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Skill in data collection and analysis to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate interpretation of information. Ability to review, interpret, and apply official program materials, policies, and directives. Proficiency in developing and presenting formal briefings and training presentations.

Competence in preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports and professional correspondence. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, demonstrating the following: A validated understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of the [Insert Occupational Series Name] occupational field. Ability to apply established theories and practices to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Competence in meeting all mandatory certification requirements for the next higher level of performance. Note: Experience gained through relevant military technical training schools may be credited toward the one-year on-the-job experience requirement. Additionally, completion of a relevant degree program or academic courses may be substituted for some specialized experience in accordance with OPM guidelines.
