Training Coordinator

About this role

Training Coordination & Administration Coordinate and administer training programmes across the Contract. Identify and monitor training requirements in conjunction with managers and department leaders. Schedule training courses, workshops, inductions, and refresher training. Liaise with internal and external training providers to arrange training delivery. Ensure employees are enrolled onto the correct training and receive joining instructions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and databases. Monitor qualification and certification expiry dates and coordinate renewals. Produce training reports, compliance dashboards, and management information. Process training bookings, invoices, purchase orders, and associated documentation. Maintain attendance records and evaluate training completion rates. Create, maintain, review and amend job specific training manuals, videos and courses in line with legislative and client requirements.

Compliance & Quality Support compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, and organisational training requirements. Ensure mandatory training records are maintained and audited as required. Monitor training compliance and escalate concerns where necessary. Support preparation for internal and external audits. Stakeholder Management Build effective relationships with managers, employees, and training providers. Provide advice and guidance regarding training policies and procedures.

Support the implementation of learning and development initiatives. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Continuous Improvement Support the development and improvement of training systems and processes. Gather feedback from delegates and training providers to evaluate effectiveness. Recommend improvements to training delivery and administration Essential Previous experience in a training, learning & development, HR, or administrative role.

Strong organisational and planning skills. Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping ability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
