About this role

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Analyzed, formulated, and briefed advanced concepts related to the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile (including safety, security, system capabilities, and life cycle), national/foreign strategic nuclear policy, and national deterrence frameworks to ensure alignment with the National Defense Strategy and nuclear posture directives.

Planned, designed, developed, evaluated, and maintained advanced technical educational courses, curriculum modules, Programs of Instruction, and instructional handbooks to address critical technical knowledge gaps. Delivered, facilitated, and directed high-level technical instruction and educational programs on complex nuclear enterprise issues for senior leadership audiences-including O-5/O-6 military officers, GS-14/GS-15 civilians, senior executives, and national laboratory scientists-across physical, virtual/distance learning, and Mobile Training Team (MTT) environments.

Orchestrated course execution and quality assurance as a Course Manager; conducted peer evaluations of instructional staff, coordinated subject matter experts and guest lecturers, and managed complex operational logistics, including multi-agency travel schedules, program budgets, and physical material distribution. (Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume) AND B. C. Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. Or Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); Supervising or administering a training program; Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results; Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
