About this role

To qualify, applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level (or ZA-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience: Developing and implementing employee training programs, conducting needs assessment, and creating customized program content; Performing comprehensive research and data analysis related to employee development programs and compiling and presenting findings in a manner that informs decision-making processes; and Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, such as management, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.

This involves coordinating with these stakeholders on projects or initiatives and demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate, negotiate, and drive consensus Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
