About this role

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Assisting with planning, developing, coordinating, and executing both long and short range travel programs for an organization; 2) Demonstrating job-related experience of guidelines and procedures applicable to the travel function (e.g., Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), and Defense Travel Regulations); 3) Receiving and processing travel documents while using organizational databases and systems; 4) Assisting in researching and evaluating information within various travel (e.g., DTS) and financial systems (e.g., ERP); 4) Using Microsoft Office Software (e.g., MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel) to prepare and edit organizational messages, correspondence, presentations, and reports; 5) Communicating, orally and in writing, to provide varied ideas and/or issues to internal and external contacts; 6) Utilizing web-based applications to create and process travel documents; and 7) Applying problem-solving techniques to assist in resolving technical issues for assigned program.
