VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
About this role
GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge of the principles of volunteer management or general management of subordinates to plan and coordinate museum volunteer programs and knowledge of a military organization. I have experience in policies, procedures, and functions required to coordinate the recruitment, training, appraisal, and reward of volunteer workers.
Examples of Specialized experience may include: 1) Practical knowledge of organizations, programs, and the activities suitable for volunteer workers to identify overall needs, assess capabilities and limitations, establish priorities, and plan an effective volunteer program; 2) Demonstrate a knowledge in education methodology, naval history and heritage, and how to relate it to the U.S. Navy ashore and afloat; 3) Responsible for arranging and managing volunteer events, assisting in museum events and assignment of requested jobs to the volunteers GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector communicating effectively with staff and volunteers to support the museum in public outreach.
I have experience demonstrating knowledge of software applications used to produce program materials and perform administrative functions such as tracking of volunteer hours.
