About this role

To qualify, applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level (or ZA-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience: Developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies aligned with agency goals; Conducting workforce analytics, assessing skill gaps, and trend research to deliver data-driven recommendations to executive leadership; and Collaborating with senior leaders, HR officials, and cross-functional stakeholders to build organizational capacity, establish consensus, and manage projects or initiatives requiring consensus-building and strategic partnership.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
